Mumbai:  In its bid to bite more out of the infrastructure space, HCL Technologies is looking at new opportunities to open up in this arena.
According to senior official at HCL technologies, the industry might see opportunities that may open up, which would in turn prompt the company to get into more businesses associated with systems integration, hosted solutions and ways in which the company can help its customers in managing assets better.

Suresh Sundaram, global head, marketing & strategy, HCL
Technologies has been quoted by DNA Money as saying that the company for the time being is looking at only services so there would be some redefinitions of the space usually that may come up in the future. He said the company is looking at how it gears up to such a situation. HCL Technologies, in fact, eyes added opportunities in integrating infrastructure services with application services.

This apart, HCL Technologies has reportedly been rather choosy in pursuing deals. The company feels that it doesn’t need to pursue all that passes by. Going by the records, the company has been fairly well off when it comes to pocketing deals.

Analysts, in the meantime, feel that operational improvements at HCL can help buffer margin headwinds from flexible pricing for some more time.

HCL Technologies had posted rise in revenues by 3.8% during the September quarter.
