A new hosted customer relationship management (CRM) service that can be used on a case-by-case basis has born out of the marriage between HCL Technologies and Talisma. The two companies, through their partnership, aim at providing complete business process services and customer relationship management on a SaaS basis across a whole range of vertical industries. The different verticals targeted include telecom, retail, insurance, banking and financial services industries.
With HCL, which has its well established operations in Europe, the US and Asia, the new CRM service could give both access to worldwide markets. The partnership is also expected to provide client-specified modulated solutions depending on the process that needs to be addressed, and which can work with most legacy enterprise content management systems.
Meanwhile, when it comes to Talisma, the CRM element of the new product comes as part for the equation. The company provides CRM services across finance, banking, education, technology and telecommunications sectors.
